The exhibition aims to reveal the personality and activity of an exceptional “man of the arts”, as both editor and writer. This thematic tour is laid out chronologically using works by artists from the Kahnweiler galleries, and focuses on the most relevant facets of his existence: the impact of two world wars, his relationship with Germany, the significance of his writings, the evolution of his exhibitions, the part that Picasso played in them, and the role of this extremely reserved and singular man.
